Ginger Snaps

2½ c. flour ¾ c. butter
2-3 tsp. ginger 1 c. sugar
2 tsp. soda 1 egg
½ tsp. salt ¼ c. molasses
1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter & sugar until fluffy. Add egg and molasses and mix well. Add dry ingredients, blend well. Form into balls and roll in sugar. Bake @ 350º for 8-10 minutes.
